on display, room 020This miniature furniture set for children and adults with matching cardboard box was part of the wide range of souvenir items commemorating the "GeSoLei" exhibition. It is a "puzzle furniture set" whose special feature is its ingenious design: all the parts are made from a single piece of wood and can be slotted together so that they fit perfectly into the rectangular box. In addition to toys, there were many other souvenirs – from postcards to recordings of the specially composed "GeSoLei song". These were available to purchase from specially designed pavilions on the exhibition grounds.
