About the workA snip with scissors, a tear or a bit of glue: even after a photo has been taken, the community depicted in it remains a matter of negotiation. Photo borders like this testify to the need to remove people from a picture. It is unknown who took the photo and what dramatic or bizarre stories lie behind it. One thing is clear, however: every tinkering with the photographic community leaves traces and changes the its narrative and memory.
