Gift of Florian Peters-Messer

Florian Peters-Messer has been collecting contemporary art since the mid-1990s. On the occasion of his 60th birthday in 2024, the property entrepreneur from Viersen donated over 300 works to the Kunstpalast. The collection spans installations, paintings, drawings, photographs and video art by more than 80 artists. Many pieces critically address the upheavals of our time. What they have in common is a certain urgency – they prompt reflection.
