not on displayPlants threatened with extinction - that sounds like a current headline. However, over 100 years ago, the American photographer Edwin Hale Lincoln set himself the task of photographically documenting rare or endangered plant species. His work is not only of scientific interest, but also has great artistic value. Lincoln’s images captured the fleeting beauty of floral motifs in a timeless and modern way. He chose one of the most durable photographic processes for this: the platinum print.
