About the workIn this animation by Swiss artist Zilla Leutenegger, a woman slowly vacuums a green carpet. As she does so, the drawing is erased by the hoover, piece by piece. The artist works with a combination of video and drawing: the carpet was previously painted on the wall, while the animated drawing of a person is added by a projection. Leutenegger devotes herself to everyday situations in which time seems to slow down and life briefly stands still.
