About the workThe New York collective MSCHF regularly causes a furore with ist artistic products, especially on social media. The range of these objects includes unusual trainers such as the BWD shoe, which can be worn in both directions. With the heel facing backwards, it becomes an unusual open-toe sandal sneaker. If you turn it around, you have a kind of slip-on shoe that exposes the ankle and largely conceals the foot. The complete design of the BWD with ist striped pattern and clearly visible pull tabs is reminiscent of a 1980s skate sneaker.
