About the work"Closed today" – the shop window of this façade, which has been reproduced on a slightly smaller scale, does not permit any view inside. Sabine Hornig’s sculptures emerge from her exploration of architectural elements and spatial perception. In her works, the boundaries between real, object and pictorial space become blurred. The Berlin based artist challenges the viewers with structures that cannot be used or entered and increases the awareness of their respective environment.
