About the workGabriele Beveridge has been working with glass as an artistic material since 2010. She focusses on the beauty of the glass bubble that is created when mouth-blowing glass. While still soft, the bubbles are merely shaped by metal rods taken from shop fittings. The thin colour overlay gives them a light, skin-coloured hue. Beveridge carries out smaller works herself with the glassmaker's pipe and collaborates with Adam Aaronson Glass Studio in West Horsley and Peter Layton, London Glassblowing, among others.
