on display, room G02 About the workGabriele Beveridge has been working with glass as an artistic material since 2010. She focusses on the beauty of the glass bubble that is created when mouth-blowing glass. While still soft, the bubbles are merely shaped by metal rods taken from shop fittings. The thin colour overlay gives them a light, skin-coloured hue. Beveridge carries out smaller works herself with the glassmaker's pipe and collaborates with Adam Aaronson Glass Studio in West Horsley and Peter Layton, London Glassblowing, among others.
