About the workThe experience of having your own artistic idea realised in glass in Murano must be fantastic. The Croatian printmaker and painter Raoul Goldoni, who himself had been working as a designer for a glassworks in Slovenia since 1956, experienced this during several stays in Venice. The results show the exchange between the artists. In 1974, around the time when the Muranese glass artist Livio Seguso was realising Goldoni’s ideas, Seguso’s own style also changed, moving towards the interior design of transparent objects. It is obvious that his collaboration with Goldoni influenced him.
