About the workA glimpse into infinite depth—this impression is created by Israeli artist Guy Zagurksy through a series of mirrors placed side by side. The work refers to the story ’El Aleph’ by Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges. In it, the main character finds a point in space through which he can see the entire universe in a single moment. Zagursky’s installation goes one step further: instead of the cosmos, an endless black hole opens up, in whose apparent depths the blue neon light of the inscription is swallowed.
