on display, room G02 About the workCan you read what is written here? The original text is no longer legible, as the lettering was first formed and then crumpled up to get "to the point". At the same time, this action seems to imply the original writing’s meaning before it was distorted, which read "doesn't matter". Light in combination with language is one of the themes of the multifaceted work of artist Via Lewandowsky. These works are reminiscent of the succinct messages of neon signs. Lewandowsky studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts in the 1980s and lives and works in Berlin.
