ZERO

The founding members of the Düsseldorf artist group ZERO (1959–1966) were Heinz Mack and Otto Piene; Günther Uecker joined in 1961. The examination of natural phenomena such as light became one of their main themes. Through networking with other European colleagues, ZERO became an international art movement.
