About the workSometimes you can see some things better in a photograph than directly in front of the object itself. Long before photography was recognised as museum-worthy in its own right, it was used as a technical tool for cataloguing objects in museum collections. Reproductions of objects and detailed images of precious objects become works of art themselves, thanks to the photographers’ technical skills.
