About the workWide blue bands float in front of the yellow centre, changing to a bright emerald green. The vase series comprises various colour combinations and is one of the most convincing designs by Luciano Gaspari, who began working for Salviati in 1950. Unfortunately, it is not known when he designed these vases. Of the many glassworks that operated in Murano in the second half of the 20th century, Salviati was the most traditional and was highly recognised as a manufacturer of state gifts. Nevertheless, the products are poorly documented.
