About the workPino Signoretto began working in the glassworks already at the age of ten. Under his most important teacher, Alfredo Barbini, he honed his skills and became a “maestro vetraio”, a master glassmaker, in 1960 at the age of just 16. In 1978, he founded his own workshop and earned a reputation as the best and most versatile glassmaker of his generation. His work ranged from blown vessels to life-size sculptures. Many contemporary artists worked with him because he was able to realise almost every wish in glass.
