Its “tower shape” with a compact motor block and simple operation were inspired by American appliances of the 1940s, which were known for their streamlined design. Braun took these influences and translated them into a modern design language that combined clarity of form with practical everyday usability. The company's early appliance series also included the electric “Multipress” for juice preparation.
