not on displayOf the various deities of Tibetan Buddhism, Yamantaka, whose name means "Lord of Death", is considered the embodiment of wrath. The bronze depiction shows how he crushes evil spirits, but also bad people and dangerous animals under his feet. He has nine faces and a multitude of arms that carry his weapons and victims in their hands. His main face is that of a buffalo, with flaming eyebrows and a beard. Between the two horns you can see his fearsome countenance and above it his youthful appearance.
