About the workArt meets science: Yaakov Agam places the interplay between humans, space and moving objects at the centre of his oeuvre. He uses movement as an artistic tool, incorporating oscillations as visible and audible elements in his works. This example requires external input: only a force acting upon it – a touch or a gust of wind – can make the coil springs vibrate. Viewers can walk around the artwork and observe it from various perspectives and in different states of motion.
