on display, room 037The Milanese architect and designer Aldo Rossi repeatedly quoted and combined architectural elements in the design of his household appliances. He formed this espresso machine like one of his buildings. The dome-shaped lid also pays homage to the unique architecture of churches of his Italian homeland.
