About the workThis drawing belongs to a series of five works that the New York-based artist Nicole Eisenman realised especially for a gallery exhibition in Düsseldorf in 2004 – her first solo exhibition in the German-speaking world. In this sequence of pictures, Eisenman retells the creation story. She explores the state of innocence from a feminist, socio-critical perspective in the first image, “All for the Goo”.
