About the workA cylinder vase can be boring, or by Vistosi. The collar of mosaic tiles is the only decoration on this vase that attracts the eye and at the same time irritates with the small optical disturbances created during the melting process. In 1962, the glassworks presented a series of ten similarly designed vases at the Venice Biennale exhibition. Lighting fixtures were the speciality of the company founded by Guglielmo Vistosi in Murano in 1945. In the early 1960s, it attracted particular attention with its fresh design ideas.
