About the workVibrant lines pile up to create waves and transform the picture into a rhythmic play of colours. In his works, the Berlin artist Anton Henning refers to the art historical genre of the floral still life and at the same time puts it to the test. The dynamic composition of moving brushstrokes and abstract forms stands in contrast to traditional still lifes with their realistic depictions and subtle colour transitions.
