About the workFrom an obstructed view to a new vision: In 2021, Christoph Westermeier moved from a backyard to Worringer Platz and was fascinated by the new perspective. He looked out of the window at Düsseldorf's transport hub and pulled out his camera. It soon became clear that a single image would not do justice to the colourful hustle and bustle. It is only in the series that a temporality unfolds: looking at the chronologically arranged images, one follows cars, trams or people passing by. The composition bears witness to the city as well as to the characteristics of the medium of photography.
