About the workFor Chris Reinecke, art meant a publicly performed act in which the roles of artist and viewer could also be reversed. Artists create an initial situation, which is then further developed by viewers. In this way, everyone has the chance to become an artist. Reinecke tested these ideas in 1968 in four ‘Friday Evenings for Adults’ that she organised.
