About the workWhite lights shine on a dark blue background behind a head of curly red hair. What initially seems like the natural spectacle of a starry sky turns out to be numbers and green lines, the pixels of a display wall. The Filipino-American artist Trisha Baga explores the impact of digital worlds on everyday life in her works. Just as it remains unclear from the back of Baga’s figure whether they are observing the online sphere from outside or operating within it, the boundary between digital and analogue life is becoming increasingly blurred.
