About the workEveryday life does not have to be boring. In a series of photographs, the Cologne artist couple Anna and Bernhard Blume staged their own stories about both the familiar and the unusual. The settings are typically within their own four walls, such as the kitchen or living room. Alongside household and other everyday objects, the photographers are also the protagonists of the narratives. Everyday life takes a turn towards the chaotic, the delusional and the surreal.
