About the workManufactured between 1915 and 1945, this electric hairdryer is emblematic of Peter Behrens’ style. The architect and designer worked for the AEG Group as an artistic advisor from 1907 to 1914. His work typically made use of standardised forms that allowed for simplified production processes. In addition to architecture and product design, he developed new advertising and marketing strategies to ensure that matter-of-fact, simple design appealed to consumers.
