About the workWhy are shards of glass spilling out of the door? What is hidden in this room? Ulrike Möschel utilises the dangerous, threatening side of glass as a material in her works. The “Black Door” is one of her main works, with which she was represented in the exhibition “Fragile Beauty” at the Kunstpalast in 2008. The artist studied at the art academies in Münster and Düsseldorf and lives and works in Düsseldorf.
