About the workHeinz Mack expresses the contrast between nature and culture. His reliefs are made from highly reflective materials such as glass and aluminium sheets, producing symbolic representations of plant forms that dissipate into spectacular apparitions of light. This “Little Jungle” is one of Mack’s largest reliefs; its impressiveness lies in the simplicity of the means used to evoke the atmosphere of a forest flooded with sunlight.
