not on displayThe American artist Hank Murta Adams has worked with glass since the 1970s. His busts are not portraits of specific individuals, but instead refer to human experiences and often convey a sense of unease. The figures have no individual features; rather, they appear as malleable, pasty masses from which sharp metal rods seem to grow like hair. This threatening quality is counterbalanced by the gentle inner glow of the heads, which can be understood as an expression of a healing psychological process.
