on display, room 020 About the workVarious figures are depicted in rhythmic succession – children playing, young adults and women and men of all ages. They represent different stages of life and simultaneously refer to the cycle of human existence. With this mosaic design, the young painter Ludwig Schrieber took up a central theme of the "GeSoLei" exhibition, which was dedicated to the ideal of the "healthy human being" at every stage of life. However, like many of the designs submitted for the west façade of the planetarium, his work remained a competition entry and was never realised.
