About the workChris Reinecke created the figure of Minna Beuff as a personification of personal and societal ideals. Transcending borders the German "Minna" is combined with a French-sounding surname. Chris Reinecke not only questions gender roles, but also generally scrutinises role distributions, for example in relation to child raising and clothing norms, and suggests alternatives with a wink.
