"Over 100 years old. Yet still modern.
I first learned about the Expressionist artist Franz Marc at school over 20 years ago. He is known for his iconic style, which is characterised by strong, vibrant colours and abstract forms that often have a deeper symbolism and meaning.
This interplay of colours and shapes has always really fascinated me.
I am very happy to be able to present one of Marc’s works here, which, even in black and white, exudes an incredible dynamism and energy and which, despite ist age, is still timeless and inspiring."
