"Art has the power to change the world. Nan Goldin’s photographs are a striking example of this.

In New York back in the 1980s, she was an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and she has publicly campaigned against the Sackler family, who have contributed to the opioid epidemic in the USA. Her dedication to this shows that art is a powerful tool to highlight and change social injustices.

Her work Jimmy Paulette after the Parade reminds me that change is possible and that together we can create a better world."
